A couple of hangovers into it now. Last night sober feels good today. Monkeys and waves body surfed the afternoon. Two more days here then on the move.

what do those monkeys sound like? What's with all those tents? the crammed in humanity, lollying in the heat?
if you crack a coconut, lay it down with words. lots of them. and lay it down solid brother. "and don't stop to think of the words when you do stop, just stop to think of the picture better-and let your mind off yourself in this work." Dr. Sax.
He's become comfortable
in that
ol' civil war jacket.
What would compliment
that mess of hair?
A sage cigarette,
a bottle in his hand
and a book in his pocket.
A hobo at heart
a drunk by night
and a rambling pain.
Tired and old
before his time.
Studying the greats
Bukowski, Tom Waits
William S. Burroughs
and Hunter S. Thompson,
Kerouac and John Steinbeck.
Drinking Brandy
and Cockspur rum
from the bottle.
Hiding down South
for the winter months
running from the cold
and consequence.
